As a former soldier and Army Equipment Specialist I have been interested in firearms and their history for a long time. The Punt Gun and the Puckle Gun are two truly unique pieces of equipment that each have interesting histories. I was attending some Gunsmithing classes and during the firearms history portion these two names just came together and had a little ring to them. I thought “Punt and Puckle” was going to be the name we would use. I also like the Girandoni Air Rifle, have you ever seen any of these?
